HIDE + SEEK FESTIVAL AT KRYAL CASTLE
Kryal Castle will be open from Saturday 2nd to Tuesday 5th November as part of Moorabool Shire Council’s Hide and Seek Festival, showcasing the region’s hidden gems! Across these four days, you can enjoy two special events: a Food & Wine Festival over the weekend and a Kids Quest on Melbourne Cup Day. Plus, enjoy fan-favourite medieval activities like jousting, archery, axe-throwing and potion-making.

Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd November
The local flavours of today meet medieval history at Kryal Castle’s Food & Wine Festival! Experience centuries-old practices with live demonstrations of camp cooking, herbal medicine and butter-making, offering a glimpse into medieval life. You can also celebrate regional flavours by enjoying delicious treats from local food trucks, and sip on refreshing regional meads and wines.

KIDS QUEST
Tuesday 5th November
On Melbourne Cup Day, keep the kids entertained and embark on a magical journey with Kryal Castle’s Kids Quest. Follow exciting trails to uncover pirate treasures, dragon eggs and special prizes. Enjoy thrilling jousts, or try your hand at becoming a warrior in this magical, medieval adventure.

We’re open on Monday 4th November so you can visit the Castle and take part in your favourite medieval activities all day long. Try your hand at archery, axe-throwing, and knight school, and don’t miss our top knights going head-to-head in an epic jousting tournament.
