Back by popular demand, Kryal Castle is transforming into a magical unicorn wonderland.  Get ready for an adventure filled with unicorn-themed fun and activities. This is the perfect day out for unicorn appreciators of all ages.

July 5 - 20 (School Holidays)

Visit Kryal Castle these winter school holidays to see fiery feats, wizards, knights and snow queens at Knights of Fire! The icy spectacular is part of the annual Ballarat Winter Festival and offers an epic program of winter wonders and action including knights battling with fiery swords, theatre shows, potion-making and more.

The Highland Spectacular is back for the third year running! Experience the thrill of highland dancing and live Scottish music. See a joust on the tournament field, watch traditional Highland Games, and learn about Scottish ancestry at clan tents.

September 13 - 14

The Australian Jousting Championship is back in September, bringing the bone-shaking, high-impact spectacle of medieval jousting to Kryal Castle. Across two days, Australia’s best jousters will clash in full replica medieval armour, aiming to break as many lances as possible on their opponent’s shield. September 20 - October 5 (School Holidays)

This spring, Kryal Castle will be overrun with mystical creatures! Meet mermaids, fairies, dragons, and goblins while enjoying your favourite medieval activities like archery, axe throwing, potion-making, Knight School and visiting the Dragons Labyrinth.

November 1 - 2

The goblins and ghouls have brought a frightfully fun lineup of family-friendly activities for Trick or Treat at Kryal Castle! Get your free trick-or-treat bag and join a scavenger hunt around the Castle, solving riddles and tackling ghoulish experiments to collect tasty treats. You can also mix magical potions, learn to sword fight, catch live performances at the Jester’s Theatre, and see Knights clash in the Championship Joust.

November 22 - 23

Experience what it was like to live in the medieval era at the Victorian Medieval Festival, returning to Kryal Castle for a weekend of history and adventure. Watch live jousts, sword battles and live entertainment, explore the Reenactors Village, see Birds of Prey, and eat like royalty at the Victorian Medieval Festival Feast on Saturday evening.
